We're known for outdoor living — but the craftsmanship that goes into every deck, and pavilion, we build doesn't stop at the back door. Michael Yoder and his team bring 20+ years of building experience and the same Amish-rooted standard to interior remodels: kitchen remodels, bathroom renovations, and living space transformations done right, on time, and with the personal accountability our name demands.

The best remodels don't happen when you coordinate three different trades, chase two different timelines, and spend your weekends wondering who's responsible for what. They happen when you have one team — one point of contact — who understands your home, your standards, and what you're trying to achieve.
If you've worked with us on an outdoor project, you already know what that feels like. If you haven't — this is where it starts.
We take on a select number of interior remodel projects each year. Not because we can't handle more — but because every project Michael takes on gets his personal attention. That's not a marketing line. It's how we've built our reputation, one project at a time.
If you know what a Yoders build looks like, you already know what to expect from our remodels.

The kitchen is the room that defines how a home feels. We approach kitchen renovations the same way we approach every build — with careful planning, quality materials, and finish work that holds up to daily use for decades. Layout redesign, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, flooring — fully managed from concept to completion.

Whether it's opening up a floor plan, updating a dated living room, or transforming a space that's never quite worked — we bring the same design-to-build process indoors. You tell us what you need the space to do. We figure out how to make it happen

The bathroom is one of the highest-ROI rooms you can renovate — and one of the most disruptive if it's not managed well. We approach every bathroom remodel with the same planning and finish-work standard we bring to every project: quality materials, clean execution, and no surprises from start to finish.

The remodel market in Northern Michigan has no shortage of people willing to take your money and start a project. What's harder to find is someone who will finish it — on schedule, on budget, with the attention to detail that makes the difference between a renovation that looks fine and one that genuinely transforms your home.
We don't take on more than we can deliver. We don't disappear after the contract is signed. Joanna manages every project through JobTread — so you have real-time visibility into where things stand, what's coming next, and who to call when you have a question.
That's not the standard in this industry. It is ours.

No coordinating trades. No chasing timelines. Just Michael and his team doing it right.

Common Questions
Yes — many of our clients come to us first for an outdoor project and then ask us to take a look inside. We're happy to scope both together or separately, depending on your timeline and budget. One team, one relationship, one standard of work regardless of where in the home we're building.
Our primary focus is kitchen remodels, living space renovations, and structural builds. We take on projects where our craftsmanship standard genuinely adds value — not commodity work. If you're not sure whether your project is a fit, the best first step is a conversation.
The same way as any Yoders project — a free consultation, either on-site or by phone. We'll discuss the scope, walk the space, and provide a detailed proposal with transparent pricing. No vague estimates, no surprise additions mid-project.
Yes. Michael holds a Michigan Residential Builder License covering the full scope of residential renovation work in the state. Kitchen and bathroom remodels are permitted and inspected per local requirements. We handle all necessary permits as part of every project — you don't navigate the building department. We do.
Availability varies by season. Interior remodel projects are often scheduled during the shoulder season — late fall through early spring — when outdoor build demand is lower. If you have a timeline in mind, reach out early and we'll let you know where we stand.
Whether it's the kitchen you've been putting off, a living space that's never worked quite right, or a larger renovation you've been planning — we'd like to hear about it.
Tell us what you're thinking. We'll tell you what's possible.
